Hard times are coming

Can you feel it coming?  Do you see it in the faces of those you meet everyday?  Does it affect your sleep, your daily mood, your peace and joy? If you know what I'm talking about, then you share a duty with the rest of us who are "awake" to send forth one last ditch effort to wake others up too.  Hard times are coming, no matter who wins the election, and we all need to be prepared.

Several years ago, I used to exert a great amount of effort into trying to wake people up, especially co-workers.  Unfortunately, all that seemed to come from my efforts was disgruntlement and discouragement on my part as people refuse to resist the normalcy bias when new information challenges their world view causing extreme cognitive dissonance.  What am I talking about, you ask?  Let me explain a few of those terms first . . .

Normalcy Bias is our tendency to believe that everything is going to just keep going on as it is, ad infinitum.  No significant changes or disasters will cause major, long-term, ongoing disruptions to our current way of life.  This is why no one is marching on Washington D.C. with torches and pitchforks over the $19-20 TRILLION national debt.  We do not believe that it significantly affects our everyday lives and the country becoming bankrupt is not really an option.  When the electricity goes out during a storm, we have no doubt it will come back on again.  Everything is fine - until it isn't.  Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers were major catalysts in 2007-08 that rocked the financial markets, but instead of leaving the country in financial ruins, for most people, the biggest ongoing long-term issue has been the historically low interest rates punishing the retirees and decimating the pension funds (who base their projections on earning a 12-16% return on their investments - an assumption that has been "conservatively" revised down to 7-8% - both are laughable).  The frog remains in the pot of water as the temperature increases degree by degree, the change being so gradual that by the time he feels the heat the pot is boiling and it is too late.  We are very near this boiling point.

Cognitive Dissonance is the conflict created when we are faced with an undeniable truth that challenges or completely contradicts a firmly held belief.  For example, we grow up believing our government has our best interests at heart and that our country promotes freedom around the world.  So, when faced with facts that contradict this deeply held (and ingrained) belief, what do we do with it?  Well, we've been provided a term to help whisk away all the doubts - it's called "Conspiracy Theory".  A negative connotation has been attached to this term.  Be honest, when you hear that term, don't you immediately dismiss the point of view that is being described that way?  Don't you immediately picture the disseminator of the information as wearing a tin-foil hat and sitting in his mother's basement dreaming up all sorts of outlandish tales that no reasonable person would ever believe? We are taught to disregard the information if we wish to be perceived as "normal", "intelligent", and "wise".  Anyone who believes such fairy tales is, in the words of Bugs Bunny "gully-bull" . . .

For me, WTC7 was the truth that initiated the Cognitive Dissonance conflict that eventually triggered my awakening.  I'm not going to try to convince you because to me everyone has their own trigger - it might be global warming, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, open borders, or heroin from Afghanistan - but evenutally, we are all faced with this conflict.  Something that challenges a deeply held belief and forces us to find a way to reconcile it, dismiss it, or accept it and follow the rabbit hole where it may lead  . . . In HIgh School, I loved Geometry.  Proving or disproving theorems were fun puzzles for me.  If you approach the world that way, Cognitive Dissonance can really mess up your life because if you accept the challenging information as truth, then you have to follow it through.  IF this is true, then what CANNOT be true - what contradicts and conflicts with this truth?  The answers to those questions lead you through the Matrix - so that's the real choice, do you take the blue pill and wake up in your bed as if nothing happened?  Or do you take the red pill and nothing is ever the same again . . .

If you still believe that our government cares for you, wants to take care of you and protect you, and spreads freedom around the world, you are going to have a very difficult time with what is coming.  Two areas you could begin to look at are:  Saudi Arabia and EMPs.  The two are not necessarily related.  Here are a few questions to get you started:  How can our government claim to "protect human rights" around the world (which is the basis for most of our international military conflicts) while Saudi Arabia is one of our biggest "allies"?  Saudi Arabia violates nearly EVERYONE's human rights!  Women are not allowed to drive a car or even leave their house without a male family member escort - does that sound like EQUAL rights for women?  If they are raped, the must have FOUR MALE WITNESSES in order to bring charges!  REALLY?  Otherwise if she reports the assault she is likely to be charged with adultery and stoned in the streets.  Yes, for being attacked, she could receive the death sentence.  This is Sharia Law - so don't tell me that Sharia is "compatible" with our Constitution.  The two are diametrically opposed.  Oh, and "adulterous" women are not the only ones getting stoned in the streets.  Why is the LGBTQLMNOPXYZ community not protesting Saudi Arabia's treatment of homosexuals?  Yes, they are REGULARLY beheaded and stoned in the streets - by the way, so far this year Saudi Arabia has beheaded more people - LAWFULLY - than ISIS - including a 14 year old boy who would not renounce his faith in Jesus Christ.  The second item to research: EMPs or Electro-Magnetic Pulse will show you why having some extra food, water and blankets on hand might not be a bad thing.  This issue has been brought up before Congress multiple times over the years, yet our electrical grid and infrastructure remains unprotected.  Ask yourself why.  Read "One Second After" by William Forstchen.  Go to the websites: and  John Little is a strong brother in Christ who has researched these issues for years.  I personally believe he is off on his timing (he still thinks we have 10 years or more), but his information is solid.  He sends out a weekly newsletter with links to articles that show how close we're getting.

Please pray.  Pray for guidance and wisdom.  Pray for discernment.  Pray that He will reveal His purpose for you.  Then, when you receive His direction - ACT!  There isn't much time left.
